Sunday morning reflection

I am up at 4:30 am each morning eager to start my day, but on a Sunday I like to spend the first half-hour with a  cup of coffee reflecting on client progress over the past week and what I can do in the following week to help them the most.
Do they need some gentle encouragement, or do they need a firmer hand approach?

Being a disciplinarian is not a game, I play an important role in my client’s lives, a role I take seriously as they are trusting me to help them achieve their goals and to discipline them fairly when they deserve it. My role is not just to redden their bottoms with a paddle, my role is to listen, encourage offer advice and when needed, hold them accountable with consequences.

I have the deepest respect for my clients; it takes a powerful person to submit.
