Has Amy Stopped Smoking?

Amy contacted me to see if I could help her quit smoking, after many failed attempts and trying every quitting aid on the market and failed.
Amy knew the reason she failed every time was that she did not have anyone in her life to hold =her accountable, friends would encourage her not to smoke, but Amy needs someone to make her stop.
We agreed that she would start on the first of October and we would have an update call once a week on a Saturday to see how Amy was doing. If necessary, we would arrange a personal visit should Amy need some accountability and extra encouragement.

Unfortunately, Amy has disappointed me this morning, and it is necessary for me yo pay her a personal visit and administer some punishment. Amy has had five cigarettes this week after her evening meal for the last five nights. While I do understand that a cigarette is an essential part of a smokers meal and is a tough habit to quit, but we had an agreement which was no smoking at all.
Amy knows that the consequences are three with the belt for each cigarette smoked. She has fifteen to look forward to this coming week.
I hope the cigarettes were worth the punishment.
